Habib Beye, arrival announced at OM

, Habib Beye, arrival announced at OM

The dramatic turn of events survived Tuesday at OM with the takeover of power by Medhi Benatia, which led to the arrival of Habib Beye, even in certain circumstances.

The series of twists and turns never ends on the side of Olympique de Marseille. Since the start of the crisis caused by the elimination in the first round of the Champions League and the slap received against PSG in the championship, coach Roberto De Zerbi left and Medhi Benatia has just taken power to the detriment of Pablo Longoria. Certainly the Habib Beye coup d’état is very close to arriving.

This Monday, Medhi Benatia had posted a message on her social networks to indicate that she had
“posed and not proposed” his resignation. But this Tuesday, owner Frank McCourt released a press release announcing that his director of (Site notre bureau spécialisé) was ultimately not going to leave. As for Pablo Longoria, his role as president “Should evolve towards institutional responsibilities”. This also has a representative function.

There remains a major issue to resolve for OM: that of its coach. While Jacques Abardonado has played an interim role since the departure of Roberto De Zerbi, the club is still looking for a starter. Last week, Medhi Benatia met Habib Beye in Paris. The two men seemed set to get along but the announcement of the possible resignation of the first named seemed to have put an end to this path.

“Habib Beye will arrive quickly”

Here again, it is a return to the situation which is served in the course. According to Daniel Riolo, the arrival of Habib Beye on the Marseille bench would, in fact, be totally plausible and now probable.
“And Habib Beye will arrive quickly…”posted the journalist this Tuesday on his social networks.

A possibility which, like the whole of the current situation at OM, causes a lot of reaction from the supporters. The latter brought together as part of the choice of the old Marseillais defense, recalling the beginnings of the second season at Stade Rennais. Its future should quickly become more clear.
