In particular, it enables these students to become concretely involved in favor of a cause: taking action to support children affected by leukodystrophies.
A subject that obviously seems to touch Florent Pagny a lot, he who is certainly not concerned by leukodystrophies, which as a reminder form all the genetic diseases affecting the « white matter » of the brain, but knows what it means to fight against disease. He has been affected by lung cancer since January 2022. He was then forced to put his career on hold, including his participation in The Voice as a coach, to focus on his recovery, which went through sessions of Chemotherapy that already changes physically.
California especially for long periods
During his convalescence in Patagonia, alongside his wife Azucena and his children Inca (born in 1996) and Aël (born in 1999), he had decided to stop his treatment, thus causing the return of his cancer.
