The 2010 Western Asia Championship is now available with all detailed information in the Database of the Transfers. In the final, Kuwait won 2-1 against Iran. Already at the ninth minute of play, Aziz Mashaan scored 1-0. The colleague of the Yousef Nasser team went to 2-0 with the half-time whistle. The connection objective of Milad Meydavoudi has not changed anything in the result of the game, and Kuwait has therefore been able to celebrate its first and so far the only title in this competition.
Originally, the tournament was to be held in Lebanon, but was transferred to the Jordanian capital Amman because of the domestic situation of the country. The nine teams first played a group phase with three teams in a group. All the group winners and the best runner -UP qualified for the semi -finals.
Former SV Werder Bremen coach Wolfgang Sidka failed with Iraq in the semi-finals on Iran. With Ehsan Hajsafi, another professional with experience in Germany participated in the tournament. Iranian played in the 2015/16 season in the 2nd Bundesliga for FSV Francfurt.
