The clubs have already agreed: Werder transfer threatens to burst anyway

Fortuna Düsseldorf and Werder Bremen have already agreed on the principle of a loan from Eren Dinkçi. The planned deal threatens to break up anyway.

According to ‘Bild’, the reason is the second division club’s finances. After the commitments of Vincent Vermeij and Jannik Engelhardt, it was agreed within the club to first drop players before bringing in new ones. However, this is dragging on, which is why Dinkçi might look elsewhere.

Sporting director Klaus Allofs told the tabloid: « We are in talks and trying to get Eren – but I can honestly say there are competitors. That’s why no decision has been made yet. » He also confirmed that the clubs have already agreed on the terms: « Discussions with Werder have already taken place. »

The report mentions Vitesse Arnhem as a possible alternative for the striker.
