(Site notre blog d’information) has reached a new milestone with the world’s largest (Site notre bureau spécialisé) database powered by user-generated content, that is, created by fans for fans. The number of recorded match reports has exceeded the 2 million mark. The anniversary match report takes you back to 1973.

Match report number 2,000,000 was entered for the match between Fortuna Cologne and Bayer 04 Leverkusen on matchday 29 of the Regionalliga West 1972/73. The duel took place on April 1, 1973 and ended 8-1 for Cologne, which is also Leverkusen’s worst defeat in the TM database.

“It is now growing by over 1,000 current and historical match reports every day. I think this is a good time to remember that the vast majority of this data was compiled by our sponsors and data investigators with the help of registered users. We now have volunteers with 30,000, 40,000 and even 100,000 registered match reports,” says Sven Grothues, head of data maintenance, who especially thanked Sven Bauer (“Lapdog”), who also created the two millionth match report.
