Strange game. Mainz actually deserved the win, Gladbach didn’t even happen until they made it 1-0. The equalization came out of nowhere. Then a more “balanced” game, but in the end Gladbach could have pulled off the punch…
Regardless of how the match ended, one could have said it was deserved (i.e. Mainz win, Gladbach win and also draw).
Gladbach’s first half was the worst I’ve seen in a long time. And if you can congratulate the team after a good losing match, you can also criticize them after gaining a point or winning… today, you have to criticize them.
