Update Allsvenskan
Allsvenskan have a new leading duo in terms of market values after the global update following the 2022 season. Hugo Larsson of dethroned series champions Malmö FF and Yasin Ayari of AIK Solna, who are only 18 and 19, are now top of the Swedish upper house with 4 million euros each. Both are central midfielders and have become their teams’ best performers over the year. Larsson doubles his market value while Ayari adds a million.
So far, Hjalmar Ekdal (24), younger brother of former HSV professional Albin Ekdal, has topped the Allsvenskan with 3.2 million euros. The second-placed Djurgårdens IF centre-back increases his market value slightly to 3.5million but falls behind the new leaders to share third place. Still level with Ekdal after one and a half million upgrades are IFK Norrköping attacking midfielder Arnór Sigurdsson (23) and Malmö defender Dennis Hadzikadunic (24).
In the case of surprise champions BK Häcken, there are major upgrades, for example for six Samuel Gustafson (27), who increases from 0.8 to 1.8 million euros, the 22-year-old storm talent Ibrahim Sadiq (+0.9 to 1.5 million) or 20-year-old left-back Kristoffer Lund (+0.5 to 1.5m).
In the first third, Malmö striker Isaac Kiese Thelin (30) will notably be devalued from 0.3 to 2.2 million due to his age. The former Leverkusen player is still only in the top 10 of the Allsvenskan. Ex-Fuerther Veton Berisha (28) in the service of Hammarby IF drops from 0.2 million to 1.8 million euros.
